How To: Create a server with Windows NT/SAM authentication in Titan SFTP

How to add Windows NT/SAM Authentication in Titan SFTP

Steps

  1. Navigate to the “User Auth” tab at the server instance level.
  2. Click on the "+" icon on the far right hand side
  3. Click on the drop-down menu and select "Windows NT/SAM" and click Next
  4. Enter the 'Server Name' for your NT/SAM server
  5. Leave most of the settings in the wizard at their default values.
  6. On the final page of the wizard enter a 'Friendly Name' which will be shown in the Authentication Providers list
  7. An optional 'Domain Suffix' can be configured when multiple authentication providers are used. For example you can enter '@ntsam' for a domain suffix and then user logins that login as 'username@ntsam' will be routed to the NT/SAM provider

Once the NT/SAM Authentication provider has been configured you need to select the NT/SAM groups that will be included in Titan SFTP. To do this navigate to the Server / Groups node and select the NT/SAM tab and add the desired NT/SAM group to pull into Titan
